Trofholz Technologies, Inc. (Trofholz) recieved the highly sought after Electronic Security Systems Small Business Set Aside (ESS V) contract. One of just six Small Business awardees, Trofholz now has an opportunity to provide the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) with personnel, equipment, tools and materials to procure and install Electronic Security Systems (ESS) and physical security and/or force protection measures across the country.
The ESS V contract is a competitive multiple award, indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity (ID/IQ) contract. It has a 3-year base period plus one 2-year option. The total contract value is $250M. The contract provides Automated Control Systems (ACS). It includes worldwide support for the Department of the Army and other Department of Defense (DoD) installations. The ACS creates a common operating picture from the:
- Utility Monitoring and Control Systems (UMCS)
- Heating Ventilating and Air Conditioning (HVAC)
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems
- Fire alarm and life safety systems
- Chemical/Biological/Radiological (CBR) containment detection/filtration/response
- Utilities metering
- Mass Notification Systems (MNS)
