Trofholz joins Systems Made Simple on the $12B VA Transformation Twenty-One Technology (T4) Contract

We are now a part of the VA T4 Contract! Trofholz Technologies, Inc. (Trofholz) is excited to become a core team member on the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology (T4) contract. Trofholz is joining the effort as part of the Systems Made Simple, Inc. (SMS) Team. At this time, SMS is one of 14 prime technology contractors on the VA T4 contract program.

About T4

The T4 program manages all Information Technology (IT) contracts within the Veterans Health Administration, Veterans Benefits Administration, and National Cemetery Administration. It does this through a single Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. The contract encompasses a broad range of IT and telecommunications services. First, it ensures successful IT planning with program management and strategy. Secondly, the contract includes systems and software engineering to create and implement those strategies. Thirdly, and most importantly, the contract includes skilled services, like enterprise network, test and evaluation; and independent verification and validation to manage the IT strategy and tools daily. Finally, T4 includes support for critical infrastructure, including cyber security; operations and maintenance; and training and IT facility support.

As part of the SMS team, Trofholz will compete for task orders under the contract’s $12 billion ceiling over the next five years. During these five years, Trofholz will help SMS provide the VA with IT strategy and guidance. On site staff provide Program Management (PM), strategy, enterprise architecture and planning support. Moreover, our team will also help SMS deliver cyber security support for the VA. The team’s certified experts support VA operations and maintenance, training, and IT facilities.

Benefits of the VA T4 Contract

The VA created the T4 contract in order to close gaps in the IT services acquisition process. First, this ensures they are able to provide  timely delivery of health care and benefits to veterans. Most importantly, using this contract gives the VA  a selected pool of pre-qualified applicants will complete for the Task orders announced under T4.  As a result,  the VA can quickly award task orders and move forward with critical IT projects.
